These sessions offer relaxed, pressure-free time on the water with rescue cover in place and an instructor on hand for anyone who’d like a bit of guidance. They’re a great way to build confidence, meet other members, and enjoy time afloat at your own pace. They often run alongside our popular camping weekends too, making them a real social highlight.
Members are welcome to cruise or sail recreationally at any time during club daylight hours. However, please be aware that rescue cover is not available outside of organised sessions, so we recommend having another boat on the water or an adult on shore who can call for help if needed.
Rescue cover is provided during organised club activities, such as social sailing Saturdays as shown in the calendar.
We run a wide range of land-based social events throughout the year, bringing members together beyond the water. Two of the highlights are our End-of-Year Celebration & Prizegiving, and our Christmas Dinner.
