Pick a session that suits you — places are limited!

Social Sailing Saturdays are all about relaxed, enjoyable time on the water with a strong community feel. These sessions give members a chance to sail without the pressure of racing, build confidence, and enjoy support from others around the club.

Each session includes safety cover and a duty sailing instructor who’s on hand to offer guidance, whether you’d like help rigging a club boat, want to try something different, or need tips to develop your skills. Paddleboards are also available for members who prefer something a little more laid-back on calmer days.

Social Sailing Saturdays often run alongside our camping weekends, adding an extra buzz around the club and making them a brilliant way to meet people, chat, and just enjoy being part of the Stewartby community.

These sessions are great for newer sailors, returning sailors, family groups, or anyone who simply wants a friendly, informal day afloat. If you'd like to help out, volunteers are always appreciated for rigging, launching, and supporting the rescue boat — just sign up through the club's duty portal.

Sailing takes place between 10am and 5pm, and as always, the Officer of the Day (OOD) oversees on-water safety. Please follow any safety instructions, including red-flag stoppages if conditions require it.

Whether you’re learning, practising, or just enjoying time on the water, Social Sailing Saturdays are a fantastic way to make the most of your membership and connect with others at the club.
