International Licence

The International Licence lets competitors race abroad and enter UIM events, confirming they meet the higher medical, safety and eligibility standards required.

The International Licence is required for any competitor taking part in overseas racing or events sanctioned under UIM regulations. This licence confirms that a racer meets the higher standards expected for international competition, including enhanced medical requirements, safety compliance and class-specific eligibility criteria.

Drivers must already hold a valid domestic CPA licence before progressing to the international level. Additional steps, such as a full medical examination and confirmation of experience in the relevant class, may be required depending on the category being raced.

An International Licence allows competitors to take part in European and world championship events, representing their club and country while competing at a higher, more regulated standard of circuit powerboat racing.
