Basic Licence (Experienced Competitor)

The Basic Licence for experienced competitors is intended for racers who already have a history of competing in CPA open-cockpit classes and are renewing their eligibility for the current season. It confirms that the driver continues to meet CPA standards, has maintained the required level of competence, and is up to date with current safety and regulatory expectations.

This licence allows experienced racers to continue competing in GT15, GT30, OSY400 and other non-capsule classes at club, regional and national levels. It ensures that returning competitors remain compliant with CPA rules without needing to repeat full introductory training, provided their racing activity and knowledge are current.

For many active racers, this licence serves as an annual renewal, forming the foundation for ongoing participation and progression toward advanced or capsule-class qualifications.
