For Members - Social Sailing

Social Sailing now in its third year and going from strength to strength. Our Saturday Social Sailing and development sessions for members are combining with taster sessions for non-members to help improve and enhance your sailing experience here at Stewartby Watersports Club. For Members - Development Saturdays

We will be introducing Development Saturdays during 2023, look out for the dates in the calendar. The aim of these sessions are to help our newer members into the racing scene, or just for members who need a bit of help to enter and enjoy the racing at Stewartby Sailing. Much like the Social Sailing, there will be help on hand to guide you around a course and develop your sailing skills. The sessions complement our Newbie and All Comer racing series introduced this year - the last race on a Sunday in the summer and our Wednesday Evening racing which is a more friendly race and not too competitive! With all these events, we hope to engage more people into the fun of dinghy racing and improve your sailing skills on all points of sail.

For Non-Members - Taster Sessions

 These are a great introduction to sailing and will be run on Social Weekends throughout the summer. Please look out for them online and on Facebook. They last Approximately 2 hours, during which you will get an introduction to the club and what it has to offer followed by going out on the water with one of our experienced sailors, weather permitting. You will be given a membership booklet with courses, membership forms and vouchers to discounted courses and membership.
