A change to use of the lake

Dear member,

Due to a refinement of event details, there is a change to the planned use of the lake over July and August.

The Sailing Section side of the water was originally planned to be reserved for Sea Cadets use only on the 6th July. However, although this event will still be taking place, this requirement has been removed. Therefore, the lake will now be available to use, but note that it will be busy.

We are pleased however to be hosting the East of England Area Regatta for the Sea Cadets, which will take place on the 31st August. As we expect a significant number of people to participate in this event, the Sailing Section side of the water will be closed for all other members on this date.

Although the dates in the members handbook cannot be changed, the online calendar has been updated to reflect the changes.

As a reminder, the lake will also be closed on first weekend of August for the club to host the annual Power Sprint Championship.
