Come and Discover Sailing - 4th May Open Day

Ever fancied sailing? Our Annual Open Day - Discover Sailing - is a chance to explore the facilities we offer, speak to our members, and give sailing a go! With experienced sailors on hand, you'll have the opportunity to head out onto the water and experience the joy of sailing. Our galley and bar will be open offering light refreshments throughout the day.

You'll have a chance to sail on one of our club boats, which include monohulls of RS Visions and a Laser 2000, or catamarans including a Dart 16 and Dart 18. We'll also have a Storm 17 cruiser available!
On the day just turn up, sign up for a slot to go out on the water and use your time before and after to speak to current members, look around the facilities, and speak to the sailing school.
Make sure you wear clothes you won't mind getting wet and bring a spare, just in case! Feet in particular are likely to get wet. All safety equipment such as buoyancy aids are supplied.

Our Discover Sailing day is for all ages, but those from 7 years up will get the most from the day!
