Fastnet 2022 Series and Wednesday Racing

The Fastnet 2022 racing series will begin on the 10th April and continue until the 12th June. There will be 3 races on each race day, starting at 10:45, 13:00, and 14:30. The schedule of races is as per the online calendar - in the event of a discrepancy between any printed schedule, the timings on the online calendar take precedence. Please be aware that on some days a cup or special race may take place so please check the calendar.

Anyone who wishes to qualify for the series should volunteer for a duty via the members website to guarantee their choice of date - duty slots are now available on the website for you to volunteer. If there have been no duties assigned, members present at the club on racing days will be expected to volunteer. If there is no safety crew then racing cannot happen - so please volunteer for duties if you are available.

The number of races to count towards the series will be 8. This is calculated using the total number of races (21), divided by 3 (7), plus one (8), rounded up to the nearest whole number (8).

As we go into the Spring/Summer season, the galley will be open providing lunch and refreshments. Please make sure you see the galley team before heading out to sail to order your lunch.

Alongside the Fastnet series, Wednesday evening racing has now begun! The start times for these will vary depending on sunset so please check the calendar to confirm start times.
