Laying Up Supper & Prizegiving 2023 - Get your tickets now!

It's that time of year again where we are inviting all members to our Annual Laying Up Supper and Prizegiving!

Our Laying Up Supper & Prizegiving is the event of the year, celebrating the achievements of our sailors of all ages. Hosted at The Clubhouse, we will be putting-on a spread of 3 courses, with some drinks included on each table (soft and alcoholic), and a disco playing until late. We will also be revealing the winners of this year's racing trophies, including the infamous Club Championship!

This year our optional fancy dress theme is "What were you doing when the ship went down"... so come dressed to impress! Our menu is bread baskets with a mix of breads accompanied with olives and dipping oils to start, a main of roasted vegetables with chicken (or halloumi for vegetarians) accompanied with creamy garlic sauce and new potatoes, and chocolate brownie sundae for dessert.

Tickets are available to purchase on the Members Portal now - Stewartby Sailing : Laying Up Supper (swsc.org.uk)! Alternatively, please see Colin Clasper (Vice-Commodore) who will be selling tickets on Wednesday evening racing, or any of the galley staff during Sunday racing. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. You can pay in the galley or we will email you at a later date to request payment.
