Assistant Instructor Course

Were running a free RYA Assistant Instructor course for members. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in getting involved in teaching and supporting our clubs training activities.

The Assistant Instructor (AI) qualification is the first step in the RYAs instructor pathway. It allows the holder to assist in delivering sessions up to RYA Level 2 or Youth Stage 3, under the supervision of a qualified instructor, at the centre they are signed off at. The qualification is valid for three years.

Entry requirements:

• Must hold RYA Level 3 
• Ideally have completed an advanced module or have equivalent experience
