  • Free members training morning

    Free members training session this Sunday (2nd June) We will be looking at boat rigging and set up from 9:30 - 10:30am, then will be heading out on the water to practise upwind and downwind sailing (including tacking and gybing). The session will run until 12pm. No need to book, just turn up on the day. Club boats will be available, so feel free to use this opportunity to give a different boat a

  • Changes to diary

  • URGENT Working Party This weekend Saturday 13th April

    Urgent Working party to finish off the dinghy park, the trenches are dug, we need to fill them in with gravel and drainage. This work must completed on the grounds of safety.

    The duties have been setup and allocations/reminders gone out, there has been a glitch where multiple duty reminders have been sent, my apologies for this, it was a system glitch. The duties will be sent out every 7 days until they are accepted/declined, so please do not leave them non actioned, if you cannot do the duty allocated please decline or request a swap, it is not possible to request a swap

  • Push the Boat Out - 11th May

    If you are looking for a new challenge, then why not try sailing! We are holding our club Open Day on 11th May this year, where you will be able to experience first hand what it takes to be able to sail.

  • Assistant Instructor and Powerboat courses

    In March we will be running an assistant instructor course and a powerboat level 2 course. Our assistant instructor course will be running on Sunday 3rd and 11th March 2019, there are spaces still available. The course is FREE for members and will cover teaching the RYA method and how to teach at Stewartby. There will be a particular focus on how to teach children and making learning to sail fun and enjoyable
