Working Party – 24th March – Cancelled

With the weather not improving and Wickes unable to deliver the working party materials today, the working party on Sunday 24th March is cancelled. There won’t be any sailing either, and I’m sorry for any inconvienience.

Working Party No. 2 – Looking Tidy!

It was perishing-cold on Sunday 24th February for the second of 3 winter working parties. A small team braved the conditions to paint walls, stain tables and dig-out the footings for a new path to the floating jetty. However, in spite of the conditions a great deal was achieved and the results are pretty impressive. Especially the freshly painted garages. Very tidy.

Read-on for a roll-call of those who took part. Next working party is on the 24th March at 10.30. A list of work will be posted shortly.

Thanks to all that came and Linzy in the galley. A roll-call can be seen in the full article.

Next working party in a few weeks. See you there!

This was followed up by further fire lighting when the group worked to clear the brambles at the top end of the dinghy park and repair the bank.
