Keep looking at the website over the next couple of weeks where we’ll be revealing news of the 2011 Summer Photography Competition. This weekend sees the Graduates bring their nationals to the club. The schedule of racing is as follows: Saturday: Briefing 14.00, Race 1 15.00 Sunday: Race 2: from 11.00am Monday Race 5: from 10.00am Club racing takes place as normal. However, members are advised to check the event notice board in the club house [...] Returning for the third year, the Spring Open Handicap will take place on the opening weekend of the summer season. The handicap event will see the entered boats divided into two fleets (Fast Handicap & Slow Handicap) and offer something a little different to normal club handicap racing. With 8 home boats and 15 visitors this year’s event was one to remember with Stewartby Boat’s in contention throughout the fleet. Our very own honorary ‘Stig’ took the club honours with a new class captain decided to-boot. Continue reading this article » Stewartby Sailing Club hosted the seventh round of the 2010 Laser Home Counties and Eastern region Grand Prix series on Saturday 22nd May. Ten visitors joined four home club entries and all were greeted with a light force 2 to 3 wind with occasional big holes and scorching sunshine. The club diary is almost ready for publishing.
