This year’s laying-up supper was a great success with over 90 members celebrating yet another successful year for the club. Who could forget the surprise award of ‘Top Crew’ to Fiona Denchfield, “The Sailing School” rendition of ‘Hey Jude’, our Vice-Commodore in Black-Tie or the curious appearance of 100 rubber ducks.

On September 29th, local bird-watchers were delighted to see the rare Leach Petrel on the lake. The sighting was amid the noise and commotion of the Powerboat Section’s event.
