The sailing section supports a RYA recognised sailing School. Courses are run on a regular basis for the RYA Young Sailors Scheme and the RYA Adult Scheme.
Ladies Only Course:
Ladies! Following an enthusiastic response from previous courses we are this year running another Ladies only course with female instructors. So if you fancy having a go at what have become known as the "giggle & scream" courses contact Nancy for further information.

Level 1/2 power courses will run on the fourth weekend of July & August as well as the normal sailing courses.
Safetyboat courses will run on the fourth weekend in September and October as well as normal sailing courses.
Junior Summer Camp - 24 – 29 August 2008
Price for the 2008 Junior Summer Camp for 10-14 year old club members will be £150 + £35 Topper Hire (if required).

We are also able to sign off for ICC and CEVNI for international certificates and if all goes according to plan will be recognised for shorebased teaching of Day Skipper/coastal/Yachtmaster by late summer.

Sailing Course Costs: 1/2 Day Taster Session £35.00
Per member: £65.00 Per non-member £130.00
Per Junior member £45.00. Per Junior non-member £90.00
Powerboat Course Costs: Per non-member £175.00
Per member £25.00 (maximum 6 courses (18 people) per year)
To qualify for the discounted members rate you must agree to 2 extra duties per year.
We will tailor sailing courses to suit you, whether you are a beginner or want a more advanced course. Let us know your requirements and we will do our best to accommodate you.
As we now have more Instructors available Powerboat courses can now be run at the same time as sailing courses but will of course be dependant on powerboat availability.
