Sunday Racing Notes:
- Members must sign-up for a duty before entering a race. Results may be excluded from the results or the helm will fail to qualify for the series if a duty is not undertaken.
- The second race in the icicle series will start from 12.45 at the race officer’s discretion. This means that on cold days you will have a short break for a hot drink or soup. On warmer days a longer break between races may be possible. Please see the additional sailing instructions for winter sailing.
- The Laser series shall include results from the Laser Standard, Laser Radial and Laser 4.7 classes. The Rooster 8.1 class shall not be included.
- The single handed series shall include the Sprint 15 catamaran sailed in the una rig or sport (sprinting) format with 1 person aboard.
- The double handed series shall include catamarans sailed with 2 persons aboard.
- The Rockall and Fastnet Series shall have silver fleets which include junior competitors
- Age/Gender series shall decide the category of a helm based on their age on January 1st of each year with the exception of juniors (see note 7)
- If, on January 1st, a member is 18 years of age then they can choose one of two options: They can continue as a Junior for a further year, or choose to be included in the Senior Series. You must decide before your first summer race and inform the results coordinator. You cannot be included in both series

Notes:
- Helms may only enter 1 boat class in Cup Competitions. This means the first boat class entered will be the class allowed, results from other classes will be discounted. For example, if a helm sails the first two races of a cup competition in a Laser Standard and the last 3 races in a Laser Radial, then the only the first two races will be counted. It should be noted that in this example, the helm will fail to qualify.
- The club championship results will combine the results from the Houghton, Caulcott and Blackaby Cups. While a restriction on entered classes is applied for each Cup event, a helm may sail a different class in each event. It should be noted that results discounted due to note 1 will not be eligable for inclusion in the championship competition. The are 2 sub competitions for Silver Fleet and Junior Racing.
- Regatta’s may be cancelled due to poor weather and rescheduled at the discretion of the sailing section committee.
