JAMS week3

Week 3 of the JAM series and thankfully the horrendous weather of the previous week had abated considerably just in time for Saturday racing. Out of 11 starters the results show six different names appearing in the top three places which is an indication of how well our Juniors are coming along.

Sprint 15 Winter TT Report

The first round of the Sprint 15 Class Association Winter TT Series took place at Stewartby on the 6th November 2010. With 8 home boats and 15 visitors this year’s event was one to remember with Stewartby Boat’s in contention throughout the fleet.

Our very own honorary ‘Stig’ took the club honours with a new class captain decided to-boot. Read on for more details.

Winter Wednesdays - Update

We thought that we would give you an update on the upcomming Winter Wednesday social evenings. You may remember that last year’s monthly Wednesday evening socials were very popular

The 17th November has an Evening of Virtual Skipper Sailing and will start at 7pm, with dinner served during a break in the evening.

December 15th will be a presentation evening for a potential flotilla sailing trip for club members next year. See separate announcement.

Remember, the Galley will be serving dinner and the bar will be open for drinks. Read on for the other dates.

Fireworks - Saturday 6th November, from 7pm

Like previous year’s the club is putting on a Firework display and bonfire eventing on Saturday 6th November. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm with the fireworks shortly afterwards. The event is free to members and accompanied guests.
