This year’s laying-up supper was a great success with over 90 members celebrating yet another successful year for the club. Who could forget the surprise award of ‘Top Crew’ to Fiona Denchfield, “The Sailing School” rendition of ‘Hey Jude’, our Vice-Commodore in Black-Tie or the curious appearance of 100 rubber ducks. We know how popular the Sale/Wanted board is in the club house and now you can reach all members via the website. Adverts are free to members and only members [...] A reminder to all members sailing this autumn that you need to volunteer for a duty if you intend to go racing. The link below will take you to the current duty list and to volunteer. When you’ve chosen your date, please contact duty@swsc.org.uk. The list will be updated as often as possible and of course [...] The opening round of the Sprint 15 Touring Trophy takes place at Stewartby on Saturday 7th November. The first race is at 11am with a competitors briefing 15 minutes beforehand. Two races and everyone takes away a prize. Entry fee is £15 for visitors and £10 for club members. |
